PaperArtsy 2016 Topic 4: Image Transfers

I must admit I'm not really thrilled by this fortnight's PaperArtsy topic - "Image Transfers". I've never mastered this technique, no matter how many tutorials I'd seen. But I'm determined... stubborn, even...

There were about 5 failed image "transfers" before this one:

The picture is a copy of a photo from National Geographic I had in my stash for ages. It's a macro photo of ice. Then I coloured it with some Distress Paints, stencilled the clouds (Memory Box stencil) and added a border (the stamp is from the Eclectica³ {Emma Godfrey} 07 set).
