Mixed Media Easter Eggs

Let me share with you my mixed media Easter decoration. I know Easter is long over but life's been busy round here lately...

I had some papier maché eggs I'd bought accidentally...

First I added texture - tissue paper and a bit of gritty modelling paste.

Then I added decorations.

Next I covered it all with black gesso.

Finally, I added combination of metallic paints, waxes and various rust/patina effect pastes.
