I'm here with an update on my Documented Life Project journal. I'm really enjoying this year's format (even though I adapted it a bit - and then a bit more). It gives me more freedom to add (and remove) art as I create it.
Here are the March themes:
- March Challenge: Seeking Treasure - Finding Value in Small Moments
- Week 10: Go splatter crazy!
- Week 11: Add Leaves, Real or Drawn
- Week 12: Use Arrows as a focal point
- list TEN™: Dream Destinations
- Week 13: Celebrate White Space
And here are my pages:
As before, the monthly theme is featured on the monthly divider. This one took longer to finish - I painted the background and then waited for some inspiration...
I painted the Arrow theme on the back of the divider. As you can see on the right, I'm using only the monthly calendar as a general overview of the month's crafty activities.
I had this scalloped-edge page prepared for several weeks. I made a couple of them in January so I used it now for the List TEN challenge.
On the right, I have a tag I made to commemorate a Finnabair class I'd taken. On the left, there is my word of the month spread.
As I explained in my previous posts, I chose to do an inspirational "word of the month" instead of a Dare2B page - and I'm loving this concept. Here are my three months so far.
I don't particularly like the "Leaf" page on the left.
The pocket pages are about my journey to Budapest, Hungary, where I took a class with Finnabair. On the right, there is Week's 10 "Go splatter crazy" page which I painted in Week 13.
The last prompt was about celebrating "White Space". I painted a background and stencilled some white circles over it.
As usual, there is a short flip-through on my Instagram, if you are interested.
I'm already working on some of the April's pages waiting impatiently for the monthly theme so I could decorate the divider.
In my spare time, I also decorated the cover of my binder.
My binder is now filling up, I will soon have to start "archiving" the first months as I don't have another binder and no possibility of getting one either.
Beautifulllll!! I do remember these ones on the fb group. :) Miss seeing your work there!
